Wednesday evening, July 22, 2009 we will be holding our SMC-IT 2009 Conference Night out event at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. A very special thought provoking dinner talk promises to stimulate your imagination on possible future directions of lunar surface transportation.

The reception and self-guided tour will be followed by a Gourmet Buffet dinner and full cash bar, with music provided by K_a-band.

Tickets are included in full registration additional tickets for guests can be purchased either online or at the SMC-IT Conference onsite registration booth.

Hollywood Gallery Discounted Petersen Automotive Museum vouchers will be available at the SMC-IT on-site registration for sponsors and/or guestswho do not plan to attend the Conference.

*Note: Students' registration fees do not include the Night Out Dinner event. Tickets may be purchased separately through our website.

The schedule is as follows:

5:00 pm - DEPART Pasadena Convention Center by provided buses
(or you can also drive on your own)
6:00 pm - Reception at the Petersen Automotive Museum, with h'orderves and cash bar.
On your own to tour exhibits.
7:30 pm - *Dinner Grand Salon Petersen Automotive Museum, 2nd Floor
8:30 pm - Banquet Speaker: "Space Invaders!" Dr. Jeffrey Norris, NASA JPL, USA
10:00 pm - RETURN to the Pasadena Convention Center

Transportation:

Shuttle services will be provided to and from Pasadena Convention Center. If you are using your own transportation please meet at the front entrance.

If you plan to drive, there is a parking fee of $8-12 ($12 maximum) depending on your parking duration.

*The Banquet Dinner includes a delicious entree, desert and beverage.
