Mr. Aaron Rogers is a subject matter expert of small satellite systems and technologies, with more than 16 years of direct experience in the analysis, design, integration, test, and flight operations of space and launch systems for numerous DoD, NASA, and commercial programs.

Presently, Aaron serves as a Program Manager and is a former Mission System Engineer, at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, leading several of the Lab’s small satellite flight programs. Prior to joining APL, Aaron held technical and management positions with AeroAstro and Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems. He has held several adjunct teaching appointments, and is currently the head instructor of the graduate sequence in the Fundamentals of Engineering Space Systems at The Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering. Aaron has authored more than 30 publications relating to small spacecraft systems and enabling technologies, serves as the Technical Chair of the AIAA/USU Conference on Small Satellites, and is a member of several international technical committees.

Aaron holds a B.S. in Aeronautics & Astronautics from MIT and an M.S. in Applied Physics from The Johns Hopkins University.
