Abstract Requirements 500 word maximum Abstracts may be submitted as: Plain text file (ASCII) PDF file RTF file MS WORD file (click here for template) If you don't use the template please include: Title Author Affiliation Address Email Phone Preferred presentation type: Oral/Poster Abstracts must be submitted before December 1, 2005. File extention must be included. Before submitting your abstract, please rename your electronic file so that it includes the following elements in this order: SMCIT06 Principle Author's First Initial and Last Name (use mixed case) Abs Filetype extension (.txt, .pdf, .rtf or .doc) Thus, an abstract by J.Doe would be called: SMCIT06JDoeAbs.txt SMCIT06JDoeAbs.pdf SMCIT06JDoeAbs.rtf SMCIT06JDoeAbs.doc If you are submitting more than one file under the same authors name, number the files 1, 2, etc. and place this number in the beginning of the file name (for example, 1SMCIT06JDoeAbs.pdf, 2SMCIT06JDoeAbs.pdf etc) If you are revising your abstract, please include a version number (example: SMCIT06JDoeAbs_v2.pdf) Abstract Revisions If a correction is needed, email the new file with the updated number to SMC-IT before November 1, 2005. 12:00 midnight PST.
