The Second International Conference on Space Mission Challenges for Information Technology (SMC-IT) is the first forum to gather system designers, engineers, scientists, practitioners, and space explorers for the objective of advancing information technology for space missions. SMC-IT will provide an exhibition hall catering to Industrial, commercial, academic, government, and research laboratories wanting to exhibit products and services for IT applications in space missions. Key conference themes include Modeling and Simulation Tools, Software Engineering, Robotics, Design Tools, IT for Operations, IT Project Management, just to name a few.

SMC-IT is now accepting applications for exhibits and product seminars. The conference invites companies to exhibit products, materials and analytical tools related to Information Technology. Exhibitors are also invited to participate in Product Seminars which will be offered in parallel to the technical program, July 17-21. The Exhibit Hall will be open on July 18-19 at the Pasadena Conference Center, Exhibition Building, Pasadena, California. The Pasadena Conference Center provides ample space and services for a large variety of exhibition booths ranging in size from 10' by 10' to extremely large industrial booths of hundreds of square feet. Wireless and wired networking, phones, power, and a variety of other services are available.

A number of events are scheduled in the Exhibit Hall to bring attendees to your display. Currently all lunches and coffee breaks are scheduled for the exhibition hall, on July 19-20.

EXHIBITS

Each exhibitor can select from the various packages, to meet their needs, ranging from $11,000 for a 20' by 20' Island area, to $2,400 for a 10' by 10' Line area. Exhibitors are asked to select their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices from the exhibit hall floor plan. Booths will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Each booth will be provided with an 8' backwall, 3' sidewalls, and an identification sign. 5 staff badges will be given to each booth.

Custom sizes will be accommodated and multiple spaces may be purchased. In addition to the complimentary full conference registrations indicated above, exhibitors will be granted as many extra Exhibits-Only badges as needed for their operations and setup staff.

HOURS

Exhibit set-up begins at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 17. The tentative exhibit hours are from 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18 and from 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19. Exhibit tear-down will be from 5:30 p.m. - midnight on July 19.

Prospective exhibitors should complete the Exhibitor Application and mail it with a check payable to Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

PRODUCT SEMINARS

A limited number of Product Seminars will be offered Monday afternoon, July 17, Tuesday, July 18 and Wednesday, July 19. Meeting rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Please indicate your company's interest in running a seminar on the Exhibitor Application form and you will be contacted.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS

There are several hotels offering a reduced rate to conference participants. Tell the reservations operator that you will be attending the JPL 2006 SMC-IT Conference.
